Chef de Home was created by Chef Ben Munro and his wife Naomi. After exploring the globe, tasting along the way and returning to their home town of Perth, Ben was inspired to share his love and talent with food in people's homes.

Born in New Zealand, Ben has travelled most of his life, living and working in Asia, England, United Arab Emirates and Australia. His early years were spent in the kitchen watching his mum cook, host and sharing a different dish with loved ones most nights. She too learnt from her mother, Ben's Nana Marie, who herself was a Private Chef in the 1970's.

Ben completed his Chef training at the International Centre for Culinary Arts and worked under 3 Star Michelin Chef Marcus Dudley. He has a passion for international cuisines, their ingredients and where produce comes from.

Naomi's education and work background is in Operations and Human Resource Management, working both in Australia, NZ and United Arab Emirates.

Together Ben and Naomi managed the exclusive accommodation and wedding venue, Matauwhi Bay Manor in New Zealand, with Ben also cooking for guests at Eagles Nest,  and the historic Duke of Marlborough Hotel.  They have experience catering for celebrity weddings and functions both large and small.

From the humble beginnings of Chef de Home's team of two in Perth, we now proudly have a team of Chefs on the east coast of Australia and more recently Abu Dhabi and Dubai. We encourage each Chef to showcase their seasonal menus that reflect their individual styles and tastes, allowing diners to enjoy a food journey.

Our Private Chef experience allows people to enjoy restaurant quality food and experience with family and friends, in the comfort of their home. Our aim is for people to enjoy the company of guests while we take care of the rest.
